Well Field Day 2003 is over and done with. The conditions were just awful! But what can you do it's mother nature. Weather wasn't that bad, but the mosquitoes were! :)
My attempt at wiring up the Field Day grounds ending up being a flop! I guess what can you expect when your trying to do everything last minute. The big suppress was that the laptops didn't have there own Ethernet connection. So off I was running around trying to find a docking station. So there was a lot of driving back and forth between my home/other hams homes and the Field Day grounds.
So might as well take advantage of the moment and do some WarDriving, we did have two apace just as you drive into the grounds but couldn't 'see' them from the parking area. Either way it was a fun time and of course like every year, I end up learning something new. So next year I'll be better prepared.
