Yes folks I'm still alive and well. I've just been busy with other stuff that I just haven't had alot of time to update the blog. Been racking up the mileage on the hwy., doing a few 4 hr drive(each way), I haven't had the wardriving machine going during those drives, sorry. I'll be doing another one in the next week and a half up to Ottawa, I hope to have the laptop fired up and running for that long 4 hr drive.

I know, I know. I promised on Monday I would post some new maps and details of my latest drive(s). But for the past few evenings I have just been BUSY. The exciting news was that I did a wardriving segment for a local TV Station, which should air at the end of this month. I'll see if I can get permission to post the video clip.
The drive was done in downtown Toronto. I have to say, I was just amazed at the amount of AP's I logged in a just a few hours. I would say in about 1.5hr I logged about 800AP!!! At any one time Netstumbler reported up to 10-15 AP's active any one time. This was mostly along the Gardiner and up Yonge St. Of course I'll post more detailed maps. This was all done with my new toy, opps I mean Antenna. I built a Pringles Cantenna for the TV segment and then used that antenna for the drive. I will say that not all AP's were logged using that antenna, while doing some driving around with (none tv related) I also used my Tooth Pick antenna as well.
Well, that's about it for now, have to run. But I will post those maps ASAP. CYA!

Monday, September 01, 2003I am STILL alive and well. Sorry things have been dead around here, just been busy with work and some other projects I have going right now, which I'll make a announcement later this week.
Sometime today I'll post my results from a 700KM round trip I took this weekend. Of course I had the wardriver machine going.
